Scale of Pay: – Pay scale + Grade Pay + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month).

Education Qualification: – A Candidate must have at least a Degree in Dairy Technology from a recognized University/Institution.

Other Eligibility Criteria:-

To be eligible for application, candidates must fulfill certain criteria:

  • Indian Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined by Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
  • Permanent Resident of Assam: Additionally, candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
  • Proof of Residency: As proof of residency, candidates are required to upload a copy of either:
  • A valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes.
  • An Employment Exchange Registration Certificate, which will also serve as proof of residency.

Age:

For eligibility, candidates must adhere to the following age criteria:

  • Minimum Age: Candidates should not be younger than 21 years of age as of January 1, 2024.
  • Maximum Age: Candidates should not exceed 38 years of age as of January 1, 2024.

Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable as follows:

  • By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, extending the maximum age limit to 43 years.
  • By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, allowing a maximum age of 41 years, based on Government Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated April 25, 2018.
  • Persons with benchmark disabilities (PWBD) are granted a relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit, irrespective of category (SC/ST/OBC/UR), according to Government Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated January 7, 2019.

Age Verification: The age of candidates will be calculated based on the Class-X/Class-XII Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council, where the Age/Date of Birth (DOB) is clearly reflected.

How to Apply Dairy Development Recruitment 2024

  • Applicants are required to submit their applications exclusively through APSC’s recruitment website. No other means or modes of application will be entertained, and applications submitted through alternative channels will be summarily rejected.
  • For individuals who haven’t registered yet on the Online Recruitment Portal of APSC, the initial step is to visit the APSC’s recruitment website at https://apscrecruitment.in. There, they should click on the ‘Register Here’ link and complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process by providing basic details.
  • It’s essential for candidates to register with a valid and active email address during the online application process. Any updates regarding interview schedules and requirements, including submission of certificates to support claims made in the application, will be communicated to candidates through the Commission’s website in due course.
  • Once registered, applicants should log in using their credentials. Then, they need to provide One Time Registration details such as Personal Information, Educational Qualification, Work Experience, Photo (with a minimum size of 50 KB and a maximum size of 200 KB, not older than 3 months), Signature (with a minimum size of 50 KB and a maximum size of 200 KB), and other required documents.
  • After submitting these details, applicants can download the One Time Registration details and proceed to the Applicant Section => Apply Section link to submit the application form.
  • Before applying, candidates are strongly advised to carefully read the eligibility criteria and other relevant details mentioned in the advertisement. Mandatory fields in the online form are marked with an asterisk (*).
  • Candidates must provide document details such as Certificate No., Issue date, Issuing authority, and upload the documents/certificates (when required) supporting the claims made in the Application Form (e.g., Date of Birth, Experience, Qualifications, etc.) in a PDF format. The file size should not exceed 2 MB and must be legible when printed. Applicants may scan the documents/certificates in 200 dpi greyscale for this purpose.
  • Pass certificates/mark sheets of the degree furnished must clearly state the candidate’s name and the degree awarded or subjects specified as per the Advertisement.
  • Document details submitted in the online application form will be verified during the Personal Viva-Voce Interview.
  • Applicants should fill in all the information accurately as requested in the application form and ensure to check the declarations checkbox before clicking the ‘Preview’ button for final submission.
  • Editing after final submission will not be permitted; therefore, applicants must ensure all relevant fields in the application are correctly filled before final submission.
  • Documents such as educational qualifications, age proof, caste, etc., required for upload should be checked using the preview option before final submission to ensure legibility.
  • After previewing the details, applicants can either click ‘Submit’ for final submission or click the ‘Cancel’ button for necessary corrections before final submission of the Application Form.
  • Upon completing the form submission, applicants must pay the application fee along with the processing fee as applicable. Please note that the application fee once paid will not be refunded.
  • In the event of payment failure, applicants should click on the ‘Validate Payment’ button to verify the payment from the bank. In cases of double debit, where the amount is debited twice for the same transaction, the bank will automatically refund the fee within 5-7 working days.
  • Once the application process is successfully completed, an auto-generated email message will be sent to the applicant’s registered email-id.
  • Applications will not be considered if the fee is not paid for that application.
  • Applicants who do not have a debit card/Internet banking facility may opt to fill their online form through Common Service Centers.

Important Documents Required at the Time of Interview.

Candidates are required to bring the hardcopy of the online application along with the following original documents/certificates, along with self-attested copies, and other items specified in the Intimation Letter/Admit Card for the interview. Failure to produce these documents will result in the candidate being disallowed from appearing in the Interview:

a) Class-X/Class-XII Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Mark Sheet issued by Central/State Board clearly indicating the Date of Birth to support their claim of age.

b) Certificates & Mark sheets of all examinations from HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) onwards up to the level of the qualifying examination.

c) Degree/Diploma certificate along with mark-sheets pertaining to all the academic years as proof of the educational qualification claimed. In the absence of a Degree/Diploma certificate, a provisional certificate along with mark sheets pertaining to all the academic years will be accepted.

d) Caste certificate issued by the Government of Assam for candidates seeking reservation as SC/ST/OBC/MOBC, from the competent authority indicating clearly the candidate’s Caste, the Act/Order under which the Caste is recognized as SC/ST/OBC/MOBC, and the village/town where the candidate is ordinarily a resident.

e) BPL (Below Poverty Line) certificate issued by the Government of Assam, wherever necessary.

f) The candidates will have to submit Declaration Form-A, related to the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019 published vide Notification No: ABP.69/2019/17 dated Dispur, the 6th November/2019, which may be downloaded from the official website of APSC www.apsc.nic.in (Forms & Downloads Section).

g) Documentary support for any other claim(s) made.

It is essential for candidates to present these documents in their original form along with their photocopies during the interview process as specified.
